The building is composed of a 24-story tower, which is set back from the main street, and a two-story banking space, which projects out and occupies the corner of the site.
The tower is planned as two rectangular office shafts, which are joined by an elevator and service core. These shafts are set at an angle of 11.5 degrees to each other, to accommodate to the site. Opening up the plan creates a strong vertical emphasis, particularly at night.
From the inside, a visitor stepping out of an elevator will find a spectacular, panoramic view of the Commons and its environs. The office shafts are clad with three densities of reflecting glass, arranged with the most transparent glass at normal window height.
A restaurant occupies the top floors and is entered through a sloping, glass-roofed elevator lobby.
The two-story banking wing contains the customer service facilities. It is largely of glass, with a perimeter ring of skylight forming a friendly banking hall with ready access from the street.
